A wooden altar, enclosed by thick, cold stone walls, where ancient images and idols of long-forgotten times rest. Fleeting warmth emanates from wax-draped golden candlesticks, their faint, flickering light casting a silent play of shadows across the walls.

The Equinox Collection celebrates the enigmatic transition between fall and winter: days growing shorter and cooler, the last colors of the year, the twilight of evening – yet also warmth, stillness, and retreat. Images arise of flickering candles in old chambers, mystical rituals among bare trees, and the irresistibly magnetic energy of the unknown.

The limited-edition candles are hand-poured into elegant bordeaux-red vessels, adorned with gilded accents inspired by medieval ornamentation. Crafted from 100% soy wax, each 200 g candle burns for 40–50 hours.

How to use

Do not leave the candle burning unattended. Allow it to burn for a maximum of 4 hours at a time. To ensure that the candle burns evenly, the surface should be completely liquid when lit for the first time.

P.F. Candle Co., born Pommes Frites, is a Los Angeles-based fragrance company run by spouses Kristen Pumphrey and Thomas Neuberger. The idea behind the product line is to make life smell better through candles, reed diffusers, room sprays, incense sticks, and Eau de Parfum. The company was founded in 2008 by Kristen. She lost her job when the recession hit and moved to Austin with the dream of making things by hand to pay the bills. The P.F. Candle Signature Amber Glass line was launched in 2012 after hours of effort at the craft fair. In 2013, there was a major breakthrough when the line was ordered after an Etsy popup by West Elm. The demand from this success inspired Tom to join the business full-time after years of supporting from behind the scenes. Since 2013, the company has grown from two people to a team of 43 employees. P.F. Candle is a classic bootstrapping business. Without formal degrees or experience, this company was built on passion and a love for DIY.
