Sometimes, a good idea begins when the old solution simply stops working. That was the case for Tenth Muse founder Sophie Beaumont. After contracting Covid and experiencing lingering symptoms, she found traditional spray perfumes irritating to her sinuses. So she started looking for a different way to wear fragrance. That search sparked the idea for solid perfume. In 2022, she founded Tenth Muse, turning an often-overlooked fragrance format into a stylish accessory.

The philosophy behind Tenth Muse is simple: to create fragrances made to go wherever you do. Each scent comes in a small pot designed to fit neatly into a refillable case. Depending on the occasion, your mood or simply what you feel like wearing, you can take your chosen fragrance to the office, a party or out into the city.

Each scent is inspired by a particular moment or mood. Date Night, as the name suggests, is made for a romantic evening for two. Salted Skin, meanwhile, evokes the feeling of salt on sun-warmed skin, making it a natural choice for warmer days. The fragrances are also designed for layering.
